About Lake Placid Health Care Center

Lake Placid Health Care Center is a 180-bed facility located in Lake Placid, Florida. Lake Placid is a quaint village known as “The Town of Murals” and “The Caladium Capital of the World”, in the south end of rural Highlands County. The facility is the largest employer in Lake Placid, with over 200 employees. In 2009, Lake Placid Health Care Center was honored with the Highlands County Business Excellence Award given by the Highlands County Economic Development Committee.
